Despite being one of the most difficult project types in residential construction, home additions have always been Salt Marsh Contracting’s niche. Excellence starts with proper planning and a rough budget; we will come to your home for an initial consultation to ball park the project’s cost, help secure necessary pre construction design work to bring your vision to life, and then move into detailed estimating, contract and project management.

Additions can be difficult to budget for, unless you have a contractor with a lot of experience. We are able to foresee what is behind your walls before they’re exposed, and identify important system upgrades such as meter upgrades or MEP relocations. Our team has the expertise to give you an estimate that won’t fluctuate in the middle of your project.

You can expect quick and open communication from both your project manager and superintendent during construction. Each project is set up with a detailed list of selections needed, a comprehensive schedule for our clients to follow, and multiple onsite walkthroughs at each milestone phase. These projects truly are a collaboration between the designers, clients, and the build team. Our proven process will ensure a successful project from preconstruction to well after the final building inspection.
